After this diagnosis he is operated to place a cerebral shunt to drain the excess fluids of the peritoneal cavity. This young baby, was introduced to Carlos Terroba, which immediately took interest and decided to research with regards to this disease and establish contact with the boy's parents to help them treat him.
After its treatment and due to its miraculous recovery, Mr. Terroba was shocked by the strength and will power of this young friend. Based on his research concerning this health issue, he realized that this disease requires great economic means to give the proper treatment, as well as its recovery therapy. He also realized that in Mexico, it's a very serious problem, first off, due to the lack of proper information, the high costs in Mexico and the lack of Foundations that can provide support or assistance. At that moment, he decides to start a philanthropic approach to help out young babies with congenital hydrocephalus in Mexico; and in August of that same year he puts in motion a project that will turn into the Infancia Feliz y Saludable Diago Foundation, where the Act. Carlos Terroba Wolff is founder and main donor for this institution.
